logically yes, but it would only use 3 cyclinders when cruising, which causes less wear and tear then during acceleration etc. it may be a issues a few hundred clicks down the track, so not a real big worry when your trying to sell a brand spanker, who keeps cars till they die these days?
i wonder if honda even thought about rotating the cyclinders which are in use when the engine shuts down 3.
