you can always look for an EG wif the B18cR motor or can mod the b16a in the del sol again its up to personal preference and goals u wanna go for

del sol really is 'slo' to begin with.... heavier than type-r and eg due to additional chassis supoprt coz of targa.

I'm really curious on how Jason (1.6L) got his down to 900Kg

    heheheheheheheh

    weight reduction baby!

Compassionate edit: because the del sol was designed as a cheaper sports car it has been literally 'coated' with sound deadening. go around the car and say to yourself "is this neccessary to turn the wheels and can i live without it"

so your saying your entire weight reduction is the sound deadening? either that stuff is real heavy or theres a crap load in there... or maybe... both??

    *cough DIY cough*

nah theres more then that removed.

If you treat it like you would an EG civic hatch then you'll get the same results.

just remember that you can remove the roof for racing and thats a descent 5 - 10 kgs.

    I removed 30 - 35 kg's from my boot alone for races.
