Honda Fifth in Sales Race, CR-V Leads its segment

    http://www.honda.com.au/wps/wcm/conn...+in+sales+race

Honda has comfortably claimed fifth place in the monthly sales race with 5,043 vehicles sold in August.

For the second consecutive month, Honda’s popular CR-V (1,410) led the Compact SUV segment with 17.5 per cent share.

“Safety is becoming more important in the minds of new car buyers,” said Honda Australia Senior Director Lindsay Smalley.

“The CR-V not only fulfills their safety needs with across the range Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), a choice of up to six airbags and Honda’s G-CON crash technology, it also has funky styling and a rewarding driving experience from $31,990.”

“The CR-V is the only Compact SUV to have VSA on each and every model in the range.”

Official VFACTS figures show that the Japanese importer held 5.7 per cent market share for the month and holds 6.0 per cent market share year to date.

Honda’s sales in 2007 now stand at 41,707 vehicles, up 5,207 over the same period last year.

The high-revving Civic Type R hatch (138) once again exceeded its target of 100 units for the month.

yeh, ill bet theyd be dissapointed

problem is ther are so many other cars u can get for the price

which isnt fair for the legend coz its so damn worth its price

but if ur gona spend 75k on a lux car, most ppl in oz would go for a 3series, c180, or most likely a caprice

i have to say though, the caprice is a very very very nice car

the legend is great too, but it has alot of competition

^ wouldnt choose any of those over a legend!

i'd put the poor legend sales down to poor/little marketing. it's an awesome drive compared to cars in it's bracket

i don't think they advertise them. My friend went in to have a look to have a look at one and the sales assistant told him they only take special orders something like that so they don't have them in the show room
