sounds like it might be easier to build a turbo engine and just drop it in.

u want to swap in an d16y1 or y8 \w gearbox and then turbo that. U want to grab the ECu and wiring loom from said engine, and also u will need to upgrade ur fuel system to EFi spec's.

or you can grab any d series fuel injected heads, bolt that on and wire it all up, you can get the full kit with loom from honbits i think...

    then go for the turbo

however more cheaper to drop a whole d16 block in, w/ or w/o gb and turbo that

nah mate you looking at a fair bit of money
best off getting another efi civic motor with the same mounts and turboing that
d15b7 is efi and has the exact same mount and is pretty good on the boost..

ZC/D16a8 has the same mounts as well...and its a 1.6 DOHC non-vtec. perfect for turbo-ing and you could even go the route of getting some low-compression pistons and a head job on it...would go nice. a plus about this is that the engines are cheap and conversions are cheap too...believe me i am doing the conversion on my ed for a D16a8 and it is not going to cost me very much at all
