I use to have a parcel tray on my DC5R with 2 6x9's mounted on them.
I don't think it's a good idea having one there coz a) it makes the boot harder to access (coz mine was bolted in) b) an audio installer once told me that it is dangerous to have a tray in the boot (mine was a MDF board) coz if the car is tailended hard, the board can easily fly forward. You can imagine what it'll do to the passengers in the car.
in my dc4 i have the rear tray and where the concaved part is, theres a big mdf carpeted, in teh shape of almost like a semi circle, and my 6x9 sit in that.
but the parcel tray doesnt go up when the boot does, but no probz ;-)
like that? it has 6x9's and 1 10inch sub on it. works fine if you make the parcel tray heavy but i wouldnt recomment puttin a subby there because you cant box it. but suprisingly this set up sounds pretty good
ii cant see that, open ur window and take a close up shot of the try =)
and it sounds good because ur boot acts as the box...
i was thinking of doing similar to u LOL
i got the one with no holes in my car and i got the cut one sitting in my garage. i actually bought the car with holes in the parcel tray with no speakers.
