not as yet, but i'd say it'll be the same engine as previous EP civics because the base prices will remain the same!

Still ugly - they should fire the EP designers and get the ones from the early to mid-90s. I don't know what Honda's stylists are thinking but they need to get off the crack and be the groundbreakers they one were, rather than following the crowd in design.

agree with ben and pete.... lost the aggressiveness and compactness of previous 90s models.... this one looks suspiciously like a focus hatch from the front..... i dunno.... not really my thing. looking at it doesnt scream "Honda Civic!" .

Given Honda Australia's lack of ability to bring in the performance cars, I doubt it. Last time we got a top line car was the Civic RS1200

Since then, we didn't get the 2G "S" Civic or the 3G "Si" or the 4G or 5G SiR in Civic or CRX. Out DC2 ITR was a watered down varient without the JDM rear setup and nose etc and the DC5 ITR is really only a RSX. I suppose you could say the S2000 and NSX fit the bill of top of the line - but I'm wondering what they lack compared to the JDM and Euro varients.

Honda Australia sucks when it comes to the enthusiast's market - unless you include the CRV... I don't :P
