    Best air filter for CAI..

Ive had my K&N pod since 02,
Even after cleaning it like 3 times it still blk so im guessing its time to replace it...

Just wondering if K&N is the best you can get for CAI or other ppl have tried others and had succes??

    Input would be greatly appreciated..

    Thanks

IMO apexi is a very good air filter for a CAI but K&N also does the job well

    I've had bad experiences with K&N. -_-

k&n is good, most recommended, as people say better material than others?

but why not go for other CAI, such as injen or aem, they come with their own filters, and there pretty good.

but yeah, as jamezy said above, apexi is also another good filter. don't think you can wash and reoil it like k&n though.

    CAI !
with finding a filter for your CAI the best way to go would be to getting a K&N, it comes with a lifetime warranty so just incase you fry the shit out of it, its ok to get a new one, also the sound of the K&N compared to the apexi is much better. air induction is alot more powerful.

    apexi vs k&n
    apexi < k&n

It's the induction system that makes it sound better, not the filter.

Apexi is not really washable as it is a paper filter, so you have to replace it every 2 years or so.

The pod filters from 3A racing got rated as one of the best filters in a group of 10 or so quality air filters by autosalon magazine, (scored 1st for flow, 2nd for filtration, or vice versa???) and there a very reasonable price.
