ok guys, i have had the BKR6e-11 on my d16a8, and ive seen people use the ngk bkr6e-n-11 instead..... and a workshop told me that i should be using bkr6e-n-11 according to the ngk manuals

what is the real difference between the

    bkr6e-11

    and the

    bkr6e-n-11

surely that cannot be too much.....

and ive been running the bkr6e-11 for quite a while, would it do significant damage??

    bkr6e-11 and bkr6e-n-11

I dont think u would have done any damage or noticed any real difference

the gap distance are both still 11 ie 1.1mm
and the heat range is still 6.

just might mean a different material or design.

if ur mecahnic looked it up he should of told u the difference.

the difference is in the plug tip which connects to the leads.

The n is for the shorter type by a few mm, it makes no difference running the bkr6e11. The leads sit a bit higher on the valve cover but it makes no difference at all.
