EP3 Type R

Hey guys,

Im getting my car back next week, parts are arriving from UK mid next week and the panel beater will have the Bumper, radiator and aircon in by friday....Took long enough.

Anyway, im upgrading my sound system when i get my car back and installing these:
ROCKFORD FOSGATE P500-1BD
Rockford Fosgate Power T110D2 10" Sub
ROCKFORD FOSGATE P400-4
ROCKFORD FOSGATE T1652-S 6.5" COMPONENT

Now how did you guys connect your amps and what not to the ep3? Straight to the battery terminal or...? I have no knowledge of the power configurations of this car so some guidance would be good Also do you guys recommended using a farad capacitor to take the strain off the alternator a bit?

i connect my +ve straight off the battery (with a fuse close to the battery terminal) and -ve to the chassis at the boot.

A capcitor won't be needed Neva had 1 in any of my cars. The lights may dim a little but as long as the car is running u should b ok
