Are the brakes on the ep3 exactly the same setup as the audm 5r?
thanks again.
If you stand for nothing, you will fall for anything.
so do alll JDM EP3's come with HID's from Japan Land? The headlights look much nicer in the facelifted 2005 models, I thought that these were the only ones that were HID's. Thats awesome will make sure my 2002 EP3's HID's dont get taken during compliancing.
As an immobiliser is needed for an EP3 before it can be insured - Just throwing a general question out there about alarms with shock and / or motion sensors.
Has anyone had a case where their alarm has been set off by something other than a thief? Eg. Passing truck, someone bumping into the car at the shopping center (in car or person form), etc.
AFAIK (i.e. as explained by installer) to meet australian standards an alarm/immobiliser needs to have 3 point immobilisation, automatic re-arm, and possibly other criteria.
My alarm occasionally goes of when its really, really windy. Depending on the specific alarm you can adjust the sensitivity.
