joek, have you tried the 1/4 mile using the stock header? I know someone with a stock EP3R that pulled 13.9 on the 1/4 mile, but that was with flatshifting.
Have you guys seen the stock headers on the EP3? I just had mine changed recently and probably wished I'd spent the money on something else. They look better and are probably better than some aftermarket headers.
Yeah i agree, dont take wat everyone says on here as gospel..everyones entitled to there own opinion and aloud to do what ever they want to there cars.

It depends on what headers u changed to. What brand did you go for or did u custom make one?
TODA, what I meant was that I probably should have put the money towards a K-Pro or similar.
Depends again. If you use the car for tracks, you will be able to realise the difference. TODA headers gives more pull throughout in the power band. If you use this car mainly on the streets, then yes, I agree the difference cannot really be felt by shifting at 3k to 4k RPM.
The primaries on the toda are probably longer than the ones on the EP3R. Also, the stainless steel is probably thinner than the steel used in the stock headers, thus giving a larger internal diameter for more flow even if the external diameter of both headers are similar.
thats fine ^_^ you got a nice car too! hope to see you around sometime
eriktufa: i do apologize because we have different standards on modification
but i think if i return my car with muffler it will still gonna be similar
maybe 0.2-0.3sec +/-
since i am using standard muffler at the moment, apart from vtec noise is gone...others are the same...
or else you can try to take off the muffer give it a go, and it may be a new solution of making the car faster
No worries
I still believe you will hit 14.5 without anything, much better than stock aud dc5r or audm dc5s.
I have sat in jdm ep3r before with mods and it's a nice and awesome car
I think Best Motoring tested the JDM EP3R and DC5R (pre-facelift) and they commented that the EP3R had faster straight line acceleration than the DC5R eventhough it was down on 5ps.
