    Set up for turbo

internal build for a turbo setup without cutting corners.. for a very reliable 200-230kw atw

    CP Pistons - 81mm - Standard Bore - 9.0:1 CR
Skunk2 Racing Valve Springs - Dual Springs
    Skunk2 Racing Titanium Retainers
    Eagle Connecting Rods
    Ferrea Valve Seals
    reccommended cams? camshafts? (unsure)

Opinions? Anything not needed? anything else to add while the engine is opened up?
(any idea on approx cost on labour for install? ( on parts mentioned above only)

obviously to achieve his power goals, it would have to be a d-series turbo setup!

    Since you got it opened...
    New seals all round
    New Head Gasket
    New Bearings
    New Water pump
    New Oil pump
    Stronger Head Studs

Looks like you got EM1 so you have a B16A? Seriously, just concentrate one your bottom end, build a nice strong one along with a nice turbo kit. You can leave the head stock or drop in a nice set of type r cams.

Also leave your compression stock.. high comp turbo ftw.

If your building your motor and it is a B16A, if you know your stuff, your power goals are easy to achive.

pistons, rods, and odd n ends thats all you'll need for you goals.

    b16a sorry

Realistically i dont really know my stuff... but im looking to purchase the parts myself from the us, so i dont want to be buying unecessary items or skipping on anything..

would it be ok to go with type r cams or better to go with something like crower stage 2 cams turbo?
matched with some toda adjustable cam gears

For your power goals u can just leave the head stock. If you want cheap power CTR/ITR cams will work very good on the b16a. Crower cams will work BUT there are better cams out there. Just do abit of research.

Like i said, just build a strong bottom end and dont skip anything on your turbo kit aswell. Get a good size turbo an even length manifold.

make sure if you do all those parts u spend the money and sleeve the block.
    also y so low compression????
you should run something like at least 11.1 and around 12-15psi if the tuner knows what he is doing

No need to sleave the block for his goals.

If he wants that sort of power all he needs is the bare minimum, pistons & rods. Hell, Pro-ecu got over 200kw out of a stock B16A2.

If your gonna go the whole hog, rods, pistons, cams, head work, blah blah, with stock sleaves, you potential is around 300kw, if you know your stuff.
