    Civic Type R numbers.

    Guys

The individual Type R numbering, does anyone know what it means,

I would have though it started with 0000, but i beleive it starts with 4000

I know i was one of the first to get a type r, my number is only 4012.

Do you guys think 4012 is total production around the world?

doesn't matter what number you get, just cuz its closer to 4000 doesnt mean you were one of the first.

they come off the ports and just get delivered accordingly to what dealer gets what amount and colours and stuff.

Yes the numbers are total production out of the Swindon plant in UK. They're up to around 9000 now in the UK. There's a lot of info on fn2r on the UK type r owner's forum
