    H22a Dyno results

    Hi all,
    Just wondering what people have been getting out of their H22a engines?
    Recently had mine tuned and wasn't happy with the results?
    111kw's atw it's auto by the way.

    hey man,
    had mine dynoed twice... first time at powertune and got 126fwkw. second time was somewhere near penrith and got 106fwkw.

    this may be a bit off topic... when on the dyno, would the speed limiter still kick in?

    Each dyno reads differently.

    Is your ECU a JDM ecu? If it is, then it should cut at 180km/h.

    Thats not a bad figure, ditch the auto you will get somewhere in the 120kw area. Not only do those auto boxes slow you down but they are pretty heavy!

    what does the weight of the gearbox have to do with this?

    Yeh the ECU is JDM. But the dyno graph from HiComp shows it went up to 190+... wierd huh?

    So did it cut out or not? If it didn't then your ECU might have the speed limiter already defeated.

    I dunno if it cut out or not when it was being dynoed... but what i do know is i have the speed limiter. I cant get past 180km/hr.

    Could the dyno be dodgy? 106fwkw and a graph that shows 196km/hr.

    Maybe the rolling diameter of your tyres is larger than stock, giving it a higher top speed eventhough the VSS sees only 180km/h.
