In the past(my last car)i noticed a minor gain, mainly in regards to my stereo. I feel the amount of fakes on the market influence opinion on this product

I've got a fake one and a genuine one. I'll post pics of the differences when I get home tonight. But yeah, there are a bucket load of fakes out there.

Beeza or anyone more versed, why would adding one/two or three extra from the unit affect performance of the unit? Interested as to know why/how
