EK Civic Tweeter Install

Just wondering if any of the Australian Delivered EK Civics came out with factory mount tweeters in the A Pillars (on the black plastic on the inside of the side mirrors)?

If not, anywhere that i can source them for an american or japanese model (new)?

Just wanted it to be a factory look install. Found out that only EK Si Coupes in america came with Tweeters on A Pillar. Next question, will they fit on a hatch? I might have better luck asking on the US forums, but it's worth a shot....

i'm not sure of the answers for your original questions, but in my EK, there is a speaker cover in the front door trip that is removable. I installed the tweeters onto the flat section of that cover facing the driver.

yeah i mounted mine in that extact same place that you are talking about still looks pretty factory to me.....

i have mine on the black plastic that is on de other side of the mirrors. it's not facing directly at anyone but i fink i'll go deaf pretty quickly if they were facing directly at me.

nah u wont... tweeters arent that loud...there is no bass comin out from them

yeh but they can deliver quite a high frequency
and if loud enough they could make your ears ring a bit

i dont know if the american ones will fit... my old 99CXI ones dont fit in my 98 vtir
