DIY request for changing rear brake shoes

Is it harder than changing rear brake pads? I am fine with changing rear brake pads but just not too sure about brake shoes

what shoes? You have an Euro, the rear are pads as well. The only difference is that you have to release the handbrake and also turn the piston while pushing it in. You can get the little cube tool for $15-20 at Supercheap.

I have an EG as well which has rear drum and they are going to worn out pretty soon so I am thinking to replace them myself

Here's a link to the service manuals. There is one for the EG there (141MB). It should have a guide on changing the rear brake shoes. http://hondatech.info/downloads/Auto/Manuals/Civic/
