Thread: Cracked bumper

    Cracked bumper

Cracked my front bumper about 4cm yesterday and got quoted roughly $700 for repair and respray, does that sound unreasonable?

I was thinking would it be cheaper to just get a new bumper painted and fitted which I was quoted $230 (not incl. paint and fitting).

$700 is on the high side (although it depends on what they have to do in terms of repairs).

IMO, you are probably better off getting another bumper (maybe try on the forums and see if someone is selling one cheap).
See a good post? Give it a PQ point.

cheers for that, I think $700 included like plastic rewelding and a complete respray.

I doubt I'll be able to get a spare bumper on these forums... curse of the 7th gen

yeah new bumper ends up $600 including fit and paint, but I ended up finding a plastic welder who can fix it for $80.
