    '91 Accord Exi engine transplant

    hi guys,

My bros got a 91 Accord Exi and the engine is getting pretty tired after
    460xxxkms.

What do you guys think would be a better way: a rebuild or a transplant?

Ive done a search on this topic but cant seem to find any info on it.

What kind of engine would be a straight fit?

Would the next model up engine fit with no modifications at all?
Your feedback would be greatly appreciated. thanx

    Cheers
    Eddie

All the accords have pretty similar engines anyway. The CB and CD's I mean. But you can get them pretty cheap. Probably cheaper than a rebuild. But it could be a bit of a gamble cuz you don't know the condition.

Otherwise if you want an upgrade you can put in an h22a from a prelude. Check out this site: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/index.php

Lots of info on the 91. Check out the swaps section stickies for details on doing the h22a swap.
