    For 97+ Prelude.. anyone installed these.. or have any problems with the amount of light projected onto road and oncoming traffic?

    Looking to buy a set.. just need to know if its:
    1. Legal
    2. Won't become hazard
    3. If its worth it..

    anything HID NON factory = illegal PERIOD

    By putting a HID kit into the OEM housing basically you are mixing 2 different technolagys, they dont work together. Basically what happens in some cars more so than other is the fact that with standard reflector housings there is no real CUT OFF.So what happens is with the brighter HIDS more light is reflected above effective cut off point hence scattered light and oncomming traffic is blinded. If you want HID get propper HID lenses and retrofit them into your ludes housings. However because your lude uses H4 globes???????? you will loose high beam.

    CUT OFF = where the light has meant to stop above a certain height/angle. Hence why on the road you like is like this
