    Cool INGS Civic FD- out now!

    Sorry if this is old for you OH readers but... just in case;

    Founded in 2001, it didn't take INGS much time to be considered as one of the top tuners on the extremely competitive japanese market. With projects for many types of vehicles ranging from sportscars to luxury sedans, they provide an alternative to Mugen when it comes to tuning the almighty FD2 Honda Civic!

    With 220HP on the front wheels and a 200% racing-inspired chassis, there is no big need for extra power, the best way to go would be reducing weight and working on the aerodynamics, yet improving the chassis parts. That is exactly what INGS did with this new set of products from their "N-Spec" range.

    This demo car has been fitted with INGS Sports TS06 rims (18 inches) and Bridgestone POTENZA RE-01R tyres (255/35/18 F - 225/40/18 R), bigger at the front to maximise the grip of this FWD car. Suspensions are Endless ZEAL Function X, the brakes also come from the Endless catalog while the exhaust is a 5ZIGEN Miracle Fireball and the seats are Bride ZETA 3, the belts come from specialist TAKATA with some MPH-340R.

    As you can see, the bodykit looks mighty fine on the new Civic, it is made of a front/rear bumper, side skirts and an impressive rear wing. The price of the whole kit (no mechanical parts included) is set around 200.000 to 240.000 Yens in Japan.

    Looks like there's now a decent Mugen alternative! Wonder how long before the replicas flood eBay.

    EDIT: This place in Singapore (?) already has the kit for sale; http://www.kereta.sg/Mall.php?Category=30

    I don't like it, much too extreme look for a Civic.

    Mugen and Modulo both better.

    I just got quite sick of lots and lots of Mugen kits everywhere so it's nice to see something different. Very very aggressive and possibly OTT, but I wouldn't mind

    Looks rice.... and the rear spoiler looks terrible!

    Hopefully (tho unlikely) it will increase competition leading to lower prices between INGS and mugen.

    Until we actually get the FD2R these things are pointless for our market. Imagine seeing a VTI-L auto with an INGS aero kit. Kinda loses it's appeal don't you think?
