    clutch to match engine or gearbox?

    here's a quick and easy one for u guys who know:

    if i have a h22a motor,
    and a h23a gearbox,

    for which engine type would i buy a new clutch kit????

    exedy make a (EXD 08805) for h22a and a (EXD 08805-1) for a h23a

    I would think you should buy for what motor you have

    H22A

    There probably not much different, check the website for the specifications and compare, but its probably got more to do with your flywheel than what engine or box you have

    Yes, get the one that matches your flywheel. Or get a clutch and flywheel set.

    i thought it was to get a clutch that matches Gbox and flywheel to match engine..

    cause the splines on box side would be diff

    Not sure. But in the K series, you can't use the clutch of a k20a with a flywheel of a k24a (and vice versa) because of the different size of the friction surface. But you can use both the clutch and flywheel set off a k20a in a k24a (and vice versa).
