DA9 owners you might wanna check this out

    Hey guys,

I've been searching around for some suspension upgrades for a while and have basically been blanket emailing companies for quotes, including USA companies.

I have been looking at various makers but specifically Koni Yellows. Guess what? I found a nice deal here in Melbourne. GT Suspension has one set of Koni Yellows left for DA9 (they had 2 ) selling them for $730 AUS !

Now you may beg to differ but the next best quote I got was from a hondatech.com sponsor which was $599 US shipped to Melb - so to me thats a pretty damn good deal for our own backyard.

Anyhow my purpose is not to talk up these guys but rather to let fellow DA9'ers what i found out today. Can't wait till Monday to get these puppies on my car.

    All the best,

    Joe.

As mentioned, only if using DC2R or EG6 specific..

Maybe you would want to use the EG front forks aswell... not too sure.

    Otherwise should be all good.

    So the rear LCA's then?

I put EG stock springs/shocks in my car and had to change nothing, i used the EG forks instead of the DA ones though as the holes diameter is slightly different in size from DA to EG.

I dont see why if you had a set specific to EG why you would need to change anything apart from these forks.

I thought DC2 and EG coilovers were the same too.. maybe they arent??

In relation to the original post the second set of cheap Koni's were bought by an OzHonda member. Hurray!

(I should have asked the manager at GT Suspension for a commission on his sale hehe, but he thanked me non the less

Got mine fitted today and they feel pretty good so far. Playing around with the settings to determine a good balance of comfort and performance. If anyone would care to mention their experience with Koni Yellow tweakings I'd be happy to listen. Love the way they are so easy to adjust and the spectrum of stiffness to softness seems quick wide (which is nice )
