    oil squirting

Hi was looking at a friend's car and he told me he had an oil leak.
Its a 2004-5 model civic with only 40k on the clock.

Now when he said leak i thought it was just a few drips. Its more like a water pistol shooting at you!

I looked around while the car was off. No lead on the head gasket area or rocket cover gasket. No leak on the bottom sump gasket. THe car everywhere looks almost new.

New i noted that the oil seems to build up around the cam cover side.
WHen i started the motor it started pissing oil from somewhere that i couldn't see.

ANyone have any ideas what it might be?

how about the oil filter, have you tried looking at it because sometimes the seal around the oil filter isn't put on properly

no issues with the sump bolt or oil filter.

Yeah i think you might be right , i think it might be the cam seal or crank seal. Only thing is i couldn't see it without taking it apart.

I've asked him to take it to Hanny's tomorrow.
