WRX arn't the greatest cars in the world... infact I've already made my descision on the matter and I'm still driving the civic. I know to many people that like to blow 2nd.
yeah rexes have a slow 3rd and above, but driving it quick (pretty much any turbo car actually) is much easier than a NA. you don't need to rev the guts outta the engine to go anywhere. but yeah, after revving the guts out of a strong vtec equipped car and seeing how quick it is, is quite impresive.
Hey just this morn, was driving into the city for work (road was clear bout 640 in the morning), this bug eyed rex (lol) tried to be funny and he got kicked in the ass........ then he got persistant again at the next traffic light on hoddle street and got stuffed again. Hence I totally agree with pornstar that this rexes never give us a chance to check out what the back of of it looks like. "hey my mum drives the rex to the market, slow car for slow drivers".
anyway... we didn't launch but hit it at the same time on 1st... dunno y but i killed him with my stock dc2r... he did a loser fly-by after i tapped the brakes though, just to show i'm slowing down... i was about a car in front...
different wrx - my03 or my04... modded with exhaust and i could hear spooling and loud BOV... he jumped half a car at start and by my 2nd gear he was a car length in front... i shifted third and he slowed down... i knew i would get owned but i wanted to see how close 3rd can pull me in... if it could pull him back in (coz 3rd is strongest gear in type-r)... oh well...

possibly.. i was racing mrjdm for a while and a rexxy took interest. but our only encouter was the corner at the on-ramp to the m5, and with his 4wd grip i couldnt match that shit! i tried to coax him into another race but he wasnt upto it!

hey guys, i just got my car back from online its putting close to 130hp at the wheels now i dont think its that much. but with the mods i have it is pretty decent. since i have raced a club spec evo 2 wrx we were both rolling and it was second gear and put a car and a hlf in front by the top of third gear. then later that night i had an encounter with an rs liberty turbo he had me from the start he had me not by much and by the top of third gear i was pulling in front of him. *and when i slowed to give him the thumbs up and show him my cheesy grin... he decided to slow to and not come next to me*.... there is good and bad in every race... and thats my theory aout turbo and N/A
