    Hey All,

I have a DA9 with B16A from a JDM Halfcut (DA half, so must be 89-93) and I want to get some Irridium plugs, what brands are recommended, I have CAI, headers, and hiflow cat and exhaust (exhaust fitted in next 2 weeks)

I saw recent thread about heat ranges etc, this is a daily driver, and although I dont VTEC Yo as much right now (trying to save fuel costs) want a plug that suits this engine. (brand and plug code)

Would prefer somewhere around the Hills area, or a reliable post supplier (even ebay as long as they are not located in Nigeria haha)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    DA9, eg, n360,
take the old plugs out and replace them with factory honda sparkplugs... ive seen dyno readings where puttin different plugs in from factory can loose power... and as long as there gapped properly with factory plugs you shouldnt have a problem remember ALL of u if it aint broken dont fix it....

having said that just change them or have them changed at every service interval and you should be fine...

if your ignition is factory then dont bother those coils rnt the best so just make sure the gap is right... the only advantage with irridium plugs... (ngk do them i think) is you dnt have to change them as much... its all bout how much money you wana spend... you wont gain hp from it... or fuel ecconmy either..unless the plugs in atm r missing....

having said that its not alot of power lose its only a few hp...

but every bit helps especially with little engines... like ours

has anyone done any new cool mod to there da tegs yet???

nah, no time yet. will probably get ek skirts and cd5 rear first then do it all at ounce. need my mounts fixed first! they are rooted!! ones broken and the two torque mounts are stressed! mega vibration throuh the firewall.

will most likly give it to modproject and get them to give her some extra TLC she needs.

just sikaflex them up thats all mine r and there solid and i garentee u wont ever break them again... downside is its a little (hardly noticeable) harder

its cheaper then gettin new mounts u will break again or gettin special tricked ones coz there essentialy have the same downside

hey guys, my mate has a da9 and he is having trouble with his temperature, it goes too hot, no leaks or anything like that, i'm thinking something as small as thermostat or maybe even water pump, whats everyone's thoughts?

Is the radiator actually running too hot or just the gauge?

Thermostat replacement is always a good start.Try to use a genuine honda one too.
    Is the coolant level ok?
    Not boiling?
