    07 civic vti wheel lock nuts gets hoooot

    07 civic vti (auto), the wheel lock nuts gets hoooot after drive a while, is it normal?

    Actually it is very hot, cant even touch it.
    But the dealer said that is normal, nothing to worry.
    Confused.....

    It's just the heat transferring from the brakes.

    my friend got a civic vti with alloy wheel, his wheel nut wont get hot, just warm, tested few times

    Alloy wheels make better heat sinks compared with steelies
