    hey which class would i be in if i wanted to run about on the track?
    i did the multiply 1.6x1.7=2.72???
    I dun understand the class restrictions ;(

    My understanding is that this would typically be a Type 3.
    Doesn't matter if it came out in Japan, but if it didn't come out here with that engine, then its considered an Engine Swap - Unless its actually a low volume import.

    If the engine is of a different family model, eg. K Series into an EG civic (B series are ok, cause its the same family of engines for the car), then you could be in the Type 5 or SV.

    Having said that, your best bet is to contact CAMS to ascertain your vehicle type.

    Dave, I'm pretty sure I'll be in 3B but will need to run CAMS log books.

    Not sure when I'll be on track but it could be earlier than first thought since I've deferred the J's engine for a while.

    i shouldnt be so lazy and start doing something....needto join a car club to get my cams licence?

    I joined Porsche Club of NSW to get my PC licence.

    I've applied for the licence. Just need to do the medical and 2 days flaggie duties. I hope that gets booked soon. I just wanna get it all finished.
