How many KM's you getting for your FD1

    Hey guys

I got close to 450KM"s out of a full tank of petrol supplied by the dealership until the red warning comes on. This is start-stop driving on the highway and city daily for about 7 days.
How much are you guys getting and what type of petrol are you using?

I normally get 400 to 450 on 40 litres. Though for the first time I only got 320 for 40 litres - which ain't fantastic. If you are like me where week in week out you don't drive the same paths your fuel economy can vary heaps.

I think I might stop putting in bp ultimate (thats all this girl has drunk since the purchase).. was 1.42 today... when normal unleaded was 1.32. It just doesn't seem worth it.

Next time i fill up, i'll try 91 and 98 and see the results

I usually fill at BP on the way to work but i'll also try out Shell.

I've been filling 91 because of the petrol shortage this past week so I couldn't test the results

As far as I know, from the dealer tank. I have done almost 450KM's on peak hr periods to work

I've read that many FD1 owners have a smoother engine with bp ultimate 98? Do you notice anything compared to using 91?
