    Obd1 engine rpm (CROME)

    Hi guys,

    I purchased a 2nd hand ECU obd2b to obd1 conversion harness..

The harness was home made.. I have tested the harness on a loan ecu (Courtesy of backyard performance), but there is no RPM.

I had a look at the PIN out diagram for the OBD1 ecu and there doesnt seem to be an RPM pin...

    what could it be?

    any help would be appreciated..

I have spoken to the seller of the item who advised me that i need to tap the wire separately..

Actionman... what are you saying? tap it from the obd2b side to where? run a wire from all the way to the cluster?

and would NEP be the right pin to tap?

connect a wire from the OBDI side of the harness of A21 pin to the OBDIIb A19, B13 side of the harness to get the ICM signal to go from the ECU to the Car
