servicing my car yesterday and noticed that my gearbox manifold was covered in oil, pretty significant leak was coming out of it.

any suggestions as what i can do?

Ive never drained the gearbox before so im not sure what the used fluid looks like but this stuff was jet black - just like sump oil

dunno, just talking s**t ...whatever houses the gears -> gearbox

most probably your rear main seal then, though you could have a leak from the dizzy, rocker cover seal, cam plug, and its that bad it will leak down.

not a fix at home job, ill get it checked out tomorrow
