DIY: Fitment of Chargespeed Lip and Sideskirt

    Hi guys,

    Aim:

Just brought the Chargespeed Bottomline front lip and Side skirts for the S2000

Fitted them the other day very easy bolt this is how I did it.

    Required:

    what u need

    - socket wrench for unscrewing 10mm bolts
    - power drill with drill bit to suit side skirt bolts and philips head bit
    - suitable lighting
    - car jack

    Steps:

    Front Lip
    what to do

1.remove 9 screws front underside of front bar. piece of cake no need to jack the car up.

2.front lip has pre-drilled holes but also have indentations where other bolts could line up. I figured this was because of overseas models etc. had to drill 3 extra holes, just line the drill bit centre to the tab and drill away.

    3. once the holes are drilled start bolting the lip to the car screw by screw but don't tighten right until the end. Lining up the washers was the only tricky bit here.

Once done you will get this

    Steps:

Side skirt (a bit trickier than the front lip but not too hard)
    what to do

1.jack one side of the car up, while someone is holding the side skirt up against the car get a drill bit similar size to the self tap screws and pre drill the 6 holes.

2.use the drill to screw 1 self tap screw in this should be enough to hold up the side skirt. then drill in the remainder.

    3. Repeat of the opposite side

Once done you will get this

    Other comments:

    Very sexy

    Hope this was helpful.
