    2008 ACCORD - It's HERE (with pics)

had my first customer test-drive today at PRESTIGE HONDA - a VTi-L (2.4L) was very nice.. that chassis still amazes me how sporty it feels !!

The transmission is exceptionally smooth and silky - it makes the previous model seem relatively clunky !! the paddle shift is a great addition also.. I didnt push the engine as it only had 20Km on the dial but the low down torque was impressive.

Apologies as the photos are just from my phone and I didnt get the chance to take any interior shots or under-hood..

very very nice car mr honda

New Logo / Badge - actually looks metal instead of just chrome-plated plastic.. though is prob still placcy

At the HONDA AUSTRALIA Training day we had an FN2 Pace-Car with VIC plate [RED-H]..

    VTiL (New Colour)

I 'only' got to drive the V6-L. The VCM was seamless and the 202Kw 3.5L was as you'd expect - Exceptional !!

    VTi

we Already had a VTiL registered today as a DEMO:

    5-Series anyone ?

I think a good job - a HUGE improvement over the old model !!!
if anyone has any questions on specs and pricing or anything just post below.

dayam that really does look like a 5 series from the side lol.

not a bad looking car, looks more polished compared to the previous one with its unresolved rear lights (both original and the LED refresh).

Not sure if i'm allowed to post the prices on here or not, but I am in PERTH so the prices I have may be different to those on the east coast. PLEASE PM ME IF YOU'RE IN PERTH AND WOULD LIKE TO KNOW PRICING.

The wagon or 'Tourer' as it's known is the 'EURO' Accord.. this is the ACCORD Accord HAHAHAH is pure marketing genius to have 2 different cars under the same name in the one country.. I wish they'd just call it the 'Euro' and the 'Accord'.. confuses so many people. At this stage I doubt we'd get the Euro wagon unfortunately.

The new JAZZ is due out in July as far as I have been told.

yeah the whole car feels like it's purpose-built.. verything goes together no add-ons or band-aid patches if u know what I mean. the build quality is exceptional. better quality (and non-PVC!!) materials used in the cabin also. The Luxury versions have a better quality leather with a bit of 'bunching-up' of the leather to give a more luxurious feel etc.

yeah it's designed to take on cars liek the Commodore and Aurion etc. I cant even compare it to a camry sorry - maybe in the pohotos but in person it looks nothing like a camry - a little like the Aurion if it was on steroids IMO.

The room on the inside is massive - have like a foot of knee-room when I sit in the back seat and i'm 6'1"..

    and the V6 with VCM - 202Kw running 10.0L/100km.. who'd want a commodore ?

yeah the 'official' release is the 28th I think.. but we have our demos trickling in allready. I'd be surprised if your Dealership in NSW doesnt allready have them as we're in PERTH and we allready have em
