oil pressure, vtec relies on oil to work.
so check your oil, top it up or change it.

if oil level is fine, unbolt the solenoid (3x bolts)
clean it out, re oil it. and put back on.

Perhaps it fell off? Look on the floor in your garage, your VTEC might have spilt all over the floor.

Solution: Run to Woolworths, and buy a bottle of VTEC for $1.95

comon guys enough of that crap, some newbie might take you serious.

Try the normal stuff, solinoid for power, oil level is correct, oil pressure is ok.
Make sure the car is at normal driving temp before you try to engage as the car will not engage vtec if cold

is your tach working?? check that too as the same happened to me. i converted my ef to have b18c also. one day vtec worky, the next it didnt. i realised that my tacho didnt work then noticed that vtec wasnt engaging.

vtec needs rpm signal to engage, on top of whats already been mentioned.

    hope that helps mate.

ps, where the hell are you guys getting a bottle of vtec for $1.95 im paying at least twice as much as that!!!
OMG!!! VTEC JUST KICKED IN YO!!!
