    All gear is coming out of the old car

    Stay tuned for the install its going to be something pretty nice
    When working in the audio industry i cant let it sit dromant and a i have bit of experiance with glassing etc







    Nice install there amurray cant wait to see it done have fun with the sanding.

    ahh yes..... teh sanding... looken forward to that.. gotta love air sanders though.. maken the job easy... i stilll gotta build the amp rack... build the box undernither the fiberglass... finish building the sides.. and do somthing with the flat sides

    What Sound deadener are you using




    Mine will be done in dynamat through out.



    Is the much airspace behind the side trims in the boot

    lol looks cool! man i still dunno what to do about my system. i realised it's actually very troublesome having such a huge subwoofer and box.. considering trading it in now for a P3 shallow mount.

    Haha fair enough. Just be warned that some people have had issues with their Civic, and if you go and pull a chylld (i.e. pull stuff apart whilst it's still new), you may end up getting the flick from the dealer when you try to get it checked. Hope the setup goes well for you!

    No offence chylld if you're reading this- you were definitely a pioneer on these forums lol!

    Its OA silent Armor.. we did tests on it.. its no better or worese then Dynamat extreme.. and 1 hell of a lot cheaper 2.

    yea there is a fair bit behind the liners... probly a good 1 1/2 to 2 sq ft behind each side

    that looks pretty sweet amurry

    im awaiting my facia from dmx, and my new head unit from the states getting a jvc double din 7" with divx...

    not sure whether to keep my hertz speakers or change...

    Got any DIY on how to take the door apart, i had a look today and i dont see many screws....i saw a post on 8thgencivic and the interior looks a bit different.

    What front speakers are u using? issit hard to wire up tweeters on the dash??

    The 8thcivic DIY guide is the only one I've seen so far. Seems about right based on when my tweeter fell out, I followed the cable and yeh. Should be kinda similar.

    Damn that sounds good. If only I hadn't spent so much on L/O converters, iPod adaptor, and steering wheel controls with the VTi-L, then I would definitely consider; but it looks like I'll have to wait until my next car before I go all out with aftermarket sound equipment.
