drivin home today, 2nd gear about 5k RPM nice 'n slow change into 3rd and durin the transition, a big bang from the engine and that's pretty much how it happened

extremely hard to get it into any gear after. when i got home, car would not go into any gear. only way to get it into gear is to turn da car off. when ya start it in gear, it makes a scratching noise

anyone know if there is a selector or somethin that could have snapped or should I be on the lookout for a new box?

    cheers

Omar, a few of the guys in our PPCC have also been saying their gearboes have suddenly gone too. I'll ask them where they went for the diagnosis.
