[DIY] Installing JDM Type-R (FD2R) grille on civic FD

My fd 1 currently on replica type r body kit, i wonder if this grill can be put on my car...coz i think mine one dont have enough space to put/stick the base of grill.. , any suggestions? correct me if im wrong ..
