    dc5 headlight

    hey guys..

i got a 2002 type r and was changing my parker globes the other day and they fell off into the headlight housing.. seemed to fall a fair way down etc..
so i assume there not sitting in the little parker section of the headlight

    my questions is
1, can i remove the headlight frame without removing the front bar
    2. where abouts would the parker be sitting any ideas??
    3. should i just not bother trying to retrieve them at all

    thanks for any help

You cannot take out the headlights unless you remove the front bumper.

    1. No. You have to remove the front bar. There is a black steel bar attached to the headlight that the front bar clips into.

2.Which side? Driver or passenger? It could be sitting on the plastic inner guard that joins to the front bar, or around the battery tray area if on the passenger side.

    3. Try and get them. You don't want anything loose in your engine bay.

if its sittin inside your housing as u say & it doesn't bother u that much just leave it in there. when u decide to install hids or changing front bumper retrieve it then.
