    Engine swap in CD5 Accord

    Iv had my CD5 accord, non-vtec model for about a year now... i dont really like it to tell u the truth but neway..lol

    im looking to do an engine swap, including manual conv.

    just wanna know whats the best engine to put in... (looking at a K20A, but havnt found 1 yet.)

    i was also considering an B18 engine (the type r jdm 1) dunno how thatl perform in the accord though...


    wat have ppl got to say...


    i dont wanna spend an arm and a leg either (wishfull thinking i know!!)

    but ye wat have ppl done..wat do ppl think

    h22a is a perfect swap for cd5.
    Unless you wanted a cheaper option, put a f22b1 (vtec model sohc) in.
    Gas up the Vtec for you tonight and baby you can go wherever you like.....

    if u dont really like the car why would u spend thousands of $$$ doing an engine convo? itd be much cheaper to just go buy something more powerful

    h22a ...put it in and dont look back. best car/engine combo around if you ask me.

    im doing another h22a in an accord soon cos i miss my old car too much.

    except i have Financial restrictions .

    yeah.. dont even bother with k20 or b18... thats for eg's and tegs.....h22a is literally direct bolt on into your cd5.. =) same power.. more torque

    h22a manual-2.5 to 3.5K
    installation from a shop will be about the 2k-2.5k depending on where you take it.

    iv heard H22A's have 187 kw at the fly.... this seems very high... is this true or is som1 taking me for a ride...
    btw i know pretty much nothing about Hondas (bought 1 just for a daily/ reliablecruiser)
    got the Nissan Skyline for the (unreliable) performance pride and joy drift car. lol

    so i may need some help with everything!!! but ye im not 1 of those hopeless forum no0bs who know nothing and want everything
