grab some spacers, roll your guards and then camber you wheels whilst dropping the car on springs as well.. is another option.

if would have sold my wheels by now if they caused me that much trouble.

another thing you might consider is to bar your car up.

You WILL need a stiff shock and spring combo if u can't afford coilovers.. you can't just change the springs as it basically only determines the height of the car not the stiffness.
    yeah agreed,

I've got skunk2 springs on my stock shocks. It's not the perfect combination but had it for 8k's now and defintely needs the shocks for the best spring/shock rates.

    Skunk2 Shocks. Approx $890
    Skunk2 Springs. Approx $350

I'd pay to get D2 Coilovers for $1299 from justjap.com. Not the best like buddyclub, cusco but be fine for street/daily use.

Imo springs shouldn't be a prob, i'd say it'll be the shocks might be a different length. Ask the supplier..

got them installed last week.. and they have settled in over the weekend..
still waiting for another few days before i lower my car more.. its on the highest setting at the back and front for now.. i need a camber kit.. *nudge FallenAngel*

anyhow, they frickin awesome! i have them set on +12 F and +12 R stiffness..
my car handles like a go kart, loving it. ride is very comfy yet still stiff..
best bang for buck! would recommend them to anyone who can afford them

i would love some coils, but so broke
how much do camber kits go for?
i think ill just sell my wheels, so i can get something that fits better and lower it on springs

    great for street driving overall

    Positives
    heaps more firm than stock
more comfortable ride on these crappy roads
can be lowered to the max, like literally touching the ground since they can be adjusted for "super low" settings
    great responsiveness on turns
definitely reduce understeer (however, i've got on a rear sway bar as well)

    Negatives
be aware and go slow on bumps, steep hill dips, and accidently going over potholes as wheels will scrap underside (due to soft spring rating)
becareful when having 3 or more ppl in the car

i didnt want stiffness on street... would prefer the stiffness on the track

if only there was coilovers similar to cusco 2e for fd's... electronically adjustable coilover settings from street to track
