GLi launch Si motor in?
So lets say u have civic eg GLi, the engines a dud, so u wanna put a EG Si D16a8 motor in, which is dohc yeh? what do u need 2 change? is it like every conversion? gbox ecu and. .? what else? is it just bolt on?

What do you guys think it? lets just say i alrdy got the motor and gbox n all that, just need 2 go mates mechanic and launch it in

Go for it man, its straight bolt on.
You know that the si engine is old for you car right?, unless the engine is from 1993 car and your gli is 1993. Its illegal to put an older engine in a newer car. But again alot of ppl done it before

I reckon its ok, soon as you change the motor, get a blue slip for $30 to get the engine number changed then your done man. Personally, i think its ok because they are both eg. You need proof that you bought the engine as well
