    Noobie Question

    Okay hi everyone, I was just wondering if you reverse mount a subwoofer does the size of the box count?

    yes, the box internals are calculated with the sub inside, with the sub outside you dont have to allow for the extra volume...

    so that means I can just knock up any size enclosure??

    you still need the right volume enclosure for the woofer but you dont need to add the extra volume of the woofer itself if you mount the woofer on the outside

    you going vented or sealed? sealed is more forgiving, you can easily get a vented enclosure wrong and damage your driver, plus with a vented you need an amp with subsonics built-in...
