    Hi guys,

    I just bought a new turbo. its Turbonetics T3/4 hybrid. and i just found out that it has water cooling n oil cool i'm just wonder how you guys do it with your cars. how did you do ur plumbing for water cool? and where did you guys source the water from? thanks

    im running a Turbonetics T3 at the moment with out water cooling system just oil cool. ix it possible to not connect the water line? just let it open and use oil cooling?

    and this turbo has a different exhaust flange!! or is it the same ???? im panicking -_-" i bought the wrong turbo... LOL
    currently i have this model

    and now the new T3/4 have the garret exhaust flange ie gt28r

    im running with the external gate with the current t3 im just wondering how to run the new turbo with the external gate.

    Thats a T25 houseing. And it looks like its internally gated... Maybe some cheap chinese turbo??

    your original T3 is a ford style 5-bolt.

    ive personally posted about 4 times on this forum on how to run water lines. try a search... Simple answer is intercept the water lines going to the throttle body. U can get water lines from clarke rubber.

    Aye, disconnect the water lines to the throttle body. Run them to the turbo. Simple, easy. Kill two birds with one stone. Get lines and fittings from Pirtek. If your turbo has water cooling, harness it and use it.

    **** i just had a good reply, and my broswer crashed.. grrr.

    Anwyays in short, i have only seen T3/4's in a few style housings

    * 5bolt ford style
    * 4bolt circle
    * 3bolt circle
    * vband

    Whats the brand? pictures? full model number??

    I know ATP Turbo now do a internally gated housing for the GT3x series garret turbos, but i didnt think they made them for the older T3/4 frame turbos. It sounds like this is what you have, because you are worried about your external gate. So im guessing this has an internal gate. So you have a few options:

    * Get a block-off plate for the external gate, and use the internal gate.
    * Get your current housing bored out and fit it to the new turbo. Use your current external gate.
    * Get another style housing for the turbine. ie 4Bolt, whioch will already come matched to to the turbine... Use your current external gate.
    * Get another turbo
