I'm interested in knowing which injectors from other cars will fit Honda's? Obviously in the US they have the DSM/Eclipse injectors to readily use, but what do we have here that is similar?

I've heard that 13B injectors apparently fit (though i believe the rotary spray pattern isnt optimal for piston engined cars), and i've heard mixed evidence that earlier generation Supra 440cc injectors also fit. Can anyone confirm this??

Would be good to know exactly what second hand injectors we can go for, especially for forced induction setups

    Cheers

    What engine is it for?

One of the most popular injector to use are those from the H22A (prelude vti-r) which is sufficient for modest boost levels.

First of all, the DSM injectors(used 50-80US) (450cc) arnt that ideal for our Civics, as they are peak and hold. To run these with ur machine, u need a resistor box inbetween the ECU and them. They are not the best even with this setup though, as i hear they give a rough idle. You will also need to modify the injector harness clips slightly to make them fit.

Popular saturated injectors are RC 440cc's (new 200-240US). Used alot on d16 civics, no modifcation is required (u may need a convertor harness, depending on model).

It all depends on how many CC's u want also, ive heard of some Civics using prelude injectors.

I spose a quick google with peak and hold + honda could return a few aussie brands also.

Well if it helps (still don't know what motor you have), prelude vti-r injectors will plug into a d16a8 and are good for around 8psi easily.

Well as far as i know all the injectors used on Hondas are the same "fit", other than the saturated vs peak and hold issue. Preludes and Accords are actually peak and hold as stock (while civics etc are saturated) so dont need a resistor box. The H22A injectors are around 345cc peak and hold if i remember right.

Basically i just wanna know if there are any injectors that come std in aussie delivered cars around the 440-450cc mark, that Honda tuners here can use like the yanks use the DSM injectors.

Its easy enough to find injectors that are new to do the job, but their must be alternaties for the budget-conscious DIY'er.

Yeh i am running an F22B1, which features 240cc peak n hold as stock if i remember right

Been doing a bit of research around, and i am wondering if injectors (weather it be peek&hold or saturated) come in some kind of standard fitiment? Ive seen things such as 'fits most "O" ring fuel rails" etc, so is there like a standard that they come in?

ALso, what are the biggest(like >= 360cc) injectors found in hondas, and what are we looking to pay for them second hand?

I dont think there's anything bigger than the 345cc or whatever injectors in the H22A that come in Hondas. The s2k might have larger ones, but i'm not sure and they probably wouldnt be the easiest to source

Well, as far as i know the fitment type for Hondas is "top feed hose-tail"...i dont know enough about injectors to know what this actually means though (well, i know top feed means fuel comes in from the top, rather than side feed like on a lot of nissans etc)

    Use second hand RB26DETT injectors...
They're 440cc/min (Low impedance - resistor is required)
F20C injectors also work well but aren’t so common to come across 2nd hand.
Be sure to have 2nd hand injectors cleaned and flowed prior to use…

are the RB26DETT injectors side feed or top feed? I was under the impression they were side feed

    RB26DETT injectors are top feed...
You may have been thinking of the side feed RB25DET units...
