    DC2 Coilovers into EG?

    Hey guys,

Dumb question I know, but will DC2 coilovers fit straight into an EG? I'm running DC2R LCAs if that makes any difference?

Also, I have previously fitted S14 suspension to my old S13, and it was a straight fit, but the ride height was significantly higher with the S14 suspension as length from the centre of the wheel to the top of the suspension (has that got a name) was longer on the S14s. will this be the case for DC2 suspension into an EG? i.e. will it sit higher with DC2 suspension that if I bought EG suspension, or will it be exactly the same?

    Cheers,
    Mark

    NO IT WON'T FIT.

DC2R for DC2R only.. DC2 uses same LCA as EG

i'm running dc sussy in my eg, but dc2 and dc2r have different lcas, Dc and eg are the same so it will deffinately fit but since you are running type r lcas you'll need type r coilovers. i've seen (and bought) some that you just change the bottom piece where they mount onto the lcas

    hope this helps

you will have to source DC2R sussy, which is better anyway and you can probably get some at a good price in the buy/swap/sell or traders forums

definitely ask the seller(s) about this as a lot of generic coilovers such as D2/G4 have the above mentioned piece that you just switch around

The model i'm hopefully buying are Tein Super Streets. Worst case scenario I would have to change my LCAs to DC2-R ones. Can anyone suggest where I could pick up some sexy billet ones?

billet lca?? well if u end up buying dc2-r coilovers then you wont be able to go for some bling bling lca and wil hav to stick wif the oem dc2r

but if u end up buying teins for eg/ dc2 (not dc2-r) then you can go for some billet lca n ditch the dc2r lcas

neways youl find that afew trraders sell those blingbling lcas
