one's a + input, the other + is the output..the input + you wire to the battery (power source).the output + is what you wire to your stereo, and you have to put a wire to a ground point from
    the -.

that one's for amps, not head units like the one I posted a pic of. It should have instructions telling you what connector the input is and what connector the output is. But it will go in-line on the power cable to your amp, not your head unit

    cool, thanks for the help!

Will be hopfully installing tomolo after work, n I 'll c how I go wit it.

When I bought the suppressor from Jaycar, the saleperson said if this component doesn't fully fix the problem, then I might have to get another suppressor the connect to the da headunit?

it will reduce engine whine noise....

the best one to get is a supressor that connects to the rca to the amp.....if will take all the whining and static off but you will loss at lease half you mid bass

Civic Si, if you require a noise suppressor I fear there might be something a little amiss with your system dude. Could you please email me about it?

The Surpressor will only take away half the problem - my car has alternator whine baaad, but I just turn up the volume...

Mind you, I need to visit Marty too and get new front splits and a few things done... might have to do something about the wiring myself

In 99 in 100 systems that have whine , it is either due to incorrect installation or faulty components.

More often than not it's the installation that is the problem. This is why I was suggesting you bring the car down here so I can diagnose it for you.
