A clay bar is a clay that is used in conjunction with a lubricant (eg. Meguiars Quik Detailer). Might sound like an abrasive product to use but actually pulls/lift/cuts surface contaminants out of the paintwork. It can however still cause marring if used improperly such as without sufficient lubricant. It gives the paintwork a mirror finish.
It can even be used to cut away fresh pain overspray.
So I did the debadge tonight, badges gone, excess adhesive gone... but I can still see a faint ACCORD from where the adhesive was, not sure if its because it's the original untouched paint as my dealer detailed the car a few times...
Will get the panel beater to clean it up for me... since I need to bring it in for repairs because some idiot from my work car park hit the driver's front quarter panel!!!! and just took off.
