Smooooth is the word here.No HP gain I doubt but it's just rev's so smoooooth. It's still the best mod I've done to my car.We have all heard the 'stock ignition system is good upto 400hp,while this is certainly true,MSD is better.Simple as that. The best way I heard it described was a guy in a US forum that I was chatting to said 'I took it off and drove around the block and I couldn't wait to get back home to re-connect it' Just Perfect!
I'm so use to having mine now lol but I'll never forget after I put it on how good it was/still is

    MSD Box/unit - $300
    External coil - $100
Modified dizzy - $70 OR DIY like me,FREE!! (only because MSD dont make one for the y4)
Capacitor (should use one of these to protect the box/unit against electrical surges) - $30

    $500 MAX.
