Both cars have beaten the record time, but it will not stand as a record unless it is backed up within 1 percent on another run, and weighed in over weight break and inspeted in the scrutineering shed after notifying the officials of a record run. I hope Ryan did. Robert Anderson has held the record since '06. About time the record was beaten.

k24 turbo will make wayyyy to much torque = impossible to get the power down same prolly for the k20, best bet would be to do it with a b16 or b18 max with no more than 400-450hp MAX. Anything else will be pretty much impossible.

^^^^ haha,not impossible to get the power to the ground,sure the k's have alot of torque compared to the b's but just because you throw a turbo on a k doesnt mean its gona make more power than an rb26 and be 'impossible' to get the power down.lets not forget that it was an sr20 that set this new record,k20 is same displacement (i know its not a good comparison really as the engines have quite different characteristics,but they both 2L)

point is,you can get the power to the ground,how much you get down will determine how fast you go,better to have 500hp and be able to ease of the throttle to get rid of wheelspin,than have 200hp with perfect traction that struggles to catch the sr20

It was weighed and a 12.1 was done to back it up... so it was an official record

90 Pov has not beat the record time not at a sports compact event anyway, it has only ever done one run in the street front category running a 12.1. Mind u it surely has the power to run faster
