    who kno's d exactl model engine my hrvehicle runs on ??

    funny u asked...

    i just saw my colleaugue's (sp!?!) HRV, and happened to take a look at the rego...and it read D16xxxxxx and JHxGWxxx, if i remember correctly.

    So, it's safe to say it's chasis code is GW and engine is D16.

    But I'll double check again tomo. Hope he drives it to work

    HRV engines looks nearly same as the civic GLi engine.....except the position of air box........

    pop the bonnet and check the engine code, on the left side of the block about 12 inches down from the valve cover.

    its exactly same as a civic gli but its different shape...disc brake at d front n drum at d back...same gear box same engine...

    not the same gearbox bro - unless it's the JDM 2WD version.. even then it'd have different ratios i'd guess.

    JDM has a VTEC Version - with the SOHC VTEC motor.. buy my D16Y1 and do a VTEC head swap HAHAHA... DIY JDM HR-V Time Sport VTEC..

    oh btw any heard of a honda D16W1 engine coz dats apprently wat is inside my car....

    i thought it was a d16y...
